Environmental Reporting Analyst

Location: Corsham, near Bath

Salary: £18,000 – 20,000 per annum plus benefits

Reports to: Head of Environmental Reporting

The opportunity

To join an award winning energy management and sustainability consultancy with a long track record in the sector. You will become part of an industry leading team and will work with a selection of the world’s top companies to help them meet their environmental reporting requirements. You will be given a high level of autonomy, working with our Consultants, Engineers and Software team in a new cross department role.

Responsibilities

You can expect to work on a range of high profile industry leading carbon reduction, clean energy and energy efficiency projects within an exceptional team.

You will deliver required project inputs according to time, quality and budget requirements.  With training, you will become an expert in our internal software products, principally Carbon Desktop (combined with Microsoft’s business intelligence software Power BI), to the extent that you will support business development activity by maintaining and developing demo sites for new prospects and be able to provide internal training on our software tools. You will efficiently handle large sets of data and be able to confidently process them into required formats.

Successful candidates will have a degree of autonomy in their role to suggest and lead on new ideas; Verco will actively support development.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and creatively on challenging problems.  You will need to have a good analytical approach, and ideally have experience of working with large data sets. 

You will have A Levels or equivalent, and it is desirable that at least one of these will be in a science, engineering, computer studies or mathematics based subject.
