Graduate / Junior Sustainability Consultant - Data Reporting & Insights (Real Estate)

Location: South West (Corsham, near Bath)

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits

Reports to: Head of Reporting

The Opportunity

This is an exciting graduate entry role, designed to provide support for and to manage reporting and compliance-based services projects, working with some of the UK’s leading sustainability teams.

As a Junior Consultant you will provide excellent technical resource to projects and business development activities, supporting the delivery of complex client projects.  

This is an opportunity to work with industry leaders in the real estate market and you will play an important role in delivering on their vision. The role will focus on the implementation of sustainability reporting, performance management and benchmarking. By engaging with a wide range of key stakeholders on a day-to-day basis, you will play a key role in managing sustainability risks and realising opportunities across the portfolios.

You will need a degree in Engineering, economics, environmental science, geography or relevant subject,  and an understanding of wider sustainability issues and energy management is highly desirable. You will have a high level of competence in the use of IT, including Excel and be a strong communicator, who has the ability to work independently and creatively on challenging problems.

Senior Consultant (Real Estate - Reporting)

Location: South West, North West or London

Salary: Competitive

The Opportunity

This role is part of Verco's Report for Zero (Real Estate) team.

It is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the worlds leading Real Estate companies to help shape and achieve their net zero carbon targets. 

You'll become part of a mission driven, award winning, employee owned consultancy; a company at the forefront to the transition to zero carbon.  

The purpose of the role is to act as a client account lead for key clients in the Real Estate sector, managing the client relationship, and leading the technical delivery of complex environmental reporting, strategic sustainability, performance management, and benchmarking projects.  By engaging with a wide range of key stakeholders on a day-to-day basis, you will play a key role in managing sustainability risks and realising opportunities.

The role will also include targeted business development activities to support the acquisition of new work.

We are looking for someone who has strong client relationship management skills, coupled with ability to manage large complex projects/programmes and project teams.  This role is focused on Environmental Reporting, and therefore Data management and environmental reporting for property portfolios experience will also be required.
