Have your say! Take part in Verco’s Climate Action in Real Estate Survey 2026

2025 has been a year of big changes, challenges and opportunities for climate action, and the real estate sector is not immune. As we launch our annual survey to collect information on real estate priorities and trends, we hope you will participate and share your experiences of 2025 and thoughts on the year ahead.
This year, climate action in real estate has been driven by stricter ESG regulations and stakeholder demand in some areas, while others have seen significant political headwinds.
The sector is embracing improvements in operational performance, smart technologies and, increasingly, climate resilience. Governance has shifted toward board-level accountability with double materiality and verified data. It’s an exciting time to be in real estate sustainability, though we’re aware of the challenges of geopolitical and economic uncertainty and altered ambitions when it comes to climate matters. The conversation may be changing, but is this affecting momentum on climate action and strategic priorities?
Your opinion matters
We’re keen to hear from you about the priorities and challenges on your mind as you look ahead to the coming years. Your experience and insights are valuable, and the more real estate professionals who take the survey, the more complete and realistic a picture we can offer of industry trends, uncertainties and plans.
The closing date for survey responses is Thursday 4th December 2025. Responses are anonymous, but those who leave their email address will get access to a pre-release copy of the results report.
Look out for the report
Our results report, Climate Action in Real Estate: Market Outlook 2026, will be published in January 2026. It will detail the conclusions drawn from the survey and offer insights and perspectives from our real estate team, helping you start the year informed and inspired.
Make sure to leave your email address at the end of the survey to receive a pre-release copy of the report in the new year.
