Ben has over 15 years experience working on sustainable development within the built environment, infrastructure and energy systems, always seeking to understand and manage long term risk and opportunity. During this time he has provided strategic advice and delivered operational change through consultancy, commercial and operational roles across the public, private and third sectors.
Sitting within the Aim for Zero team Ben provides strategic advice and supports sustainability leadership across real estate and the broader built environment. An expert in materiality and strategy, stakeholder engagement, complex roadmaps and process design. Ben works along side clients to better understand their operating environment, define challenges and opportunities and implement effective programmes and processes to deliver increasingly sustainable outcomes.
Ben sits on Bristol’s ‘One City Environment Board’, including the Climate Change and Roadmap subgroups. Acting as part of Bristol’s One City governance structure the board advises on the complexity of a city-wide approach to achieving its environmental ambitions, including carbon neutrality by 2030.
