Mariya is a Senior Consultant in the ESG Excellence: Reporting, Disclosure and Risk team at BIP.Verco. She has over 19 years of professional experience in strategic advisory, including 9 years specialising in sustainability.
Mariya is the service lead for climate risk and SFDR/EU Taxonomy within the Construction & Real Estate sector, responsible for shaping and delivering advisory services on regulatory compliance and climate resilience.
She led an EU Taxonomy assessment for a mixed‑use asset in London, covering climate mitigation and adaptation objectives and broader environmental criteria.
She works across real estate portfolios to identify climate-related vulnerabilities, prioritise adaptation measures and align resilience strategies with broader sustainability and decarbonisation objectives. Mariya combines technical analysis with strategic advisory and strong stakeholder engagement, working closely with clients, internal teams and broader value chains to ensure practical and implementable outcomes aligned with business priorities.
Mariya has worked with a range of leading real estate investors and asset managers. Prior to joining BIP.Verco, she led the strategic advisory team at JLL in Ukraine.
Mariya is accredited as a LEED AP BD+C, BREEAM AP and HPI Assessor.
