Sam is Head of ESG Excellence: Reporting, Disclosure and Risk at BIP.Verco. He has 8 years of experience specialising in ESG reporting, disclosure and climate risk.
Sam leads the delivery and development of ESG reporting and disclosure services, supporting clients in navigating complex regulatory requirements, data flow automation, and producing high quality outputs.
He has strong technical expertise in ESG reporting requirements, GHG Protocol and sustainability accounting standards, applying this across multiple sectors to develop robust reporting approaches and structured datasets.
Sam has led and supported sustainability reporting and disclosure projects for clients. His work includes developing report content, aligning disclosures with requirements and standards such as CSRD/ESRS and ASRS, supporting assurance processes and delivering clear outputs for a range of regulatory and stakeholder audiences.
He has additional expertise in Product Environmental Footprints, Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG accounting, SBTi target setting and carbon and energy compliance schemes, including EU ETS, CCAs and ESOS.
Sam has also led value chain GHG reporting programmes for global organisations across construction and food and beverage sectors, including the development of emissions reduction roadmaps and implementation planning.
