Webinar: ESG Assurance – what you need to know

The demand for trusted and credible ESG data is growing. As more stakeholders and investors request third-party assured data to support decarbonisation projects, an assurance assessment might be on your horizon. But what do you need to know before then?

Perhaps, like many sustainability professionals, you’re wondering what assurance really is, how it differs from verification and pre-assurance, which types or standards to assure against and what assurance practitioners will look at. If so, our upcoming webinar is for you.

ESG Assurance – what you need to know

Date: Tuesday 14th October

Time: 14:00 BST

In this session, Verco’s assurance experts Jing Wang and Mark Challis will discuss a variety of frequently asked questions about assurance, including:

  • What’s the difference between verification, assurance and certification?

  • How do I choose between different assurance standards?

  • How would I assure quantitative data? What about qualitative data?

  • What’s the difference between pre-assurance and assurance?

  • How and why do limited and reasonable assurance differ?

The experts will break down this complex topic into simple answers. If you’re seeking assurance, but want to grasp the basics before you start, tune in for a crash course in what you need to know, and the chance to ask your own questions as well.
